The Committee on Concepts and Methods (C&M) is the Research Committee No. 1 of the International Political Science Association (IPSA). It is currently hosted at CIDE in Mexico City. The Committee promotes conceptual and methodological discussion in political science. It provides a forum of debate between methodological schools who otherwise tend to conduct their deliberations on separate tables.

The C&M Newsletter contains debates on conceptual and methodological issues in political research and provides information on current events, publications, and teaching. It is published twice a year (Spring and Autumn) at the University of Oldenburg.
C&M publishes two Working Paper Series. Political Concepts focuses on concept analysis and language usage in politics,
Political Methodology on research design, theory building, and theory testing in the study of politics.
The tri-annual C&M Award on Conceptual Innovation in Democratic Studies rewards conceptual work of excellence in the comparative study of democracy and democratization.
Les Intraduisibles, the Dictionary of Untranslatable Terms in Politics, discusses political terms of difficult translation from and into English.
The C&M Bibliography on Political Concepts references literature on concept analysis in political science.
